How long does a Valuation take

Can someone tell me how long an valuation takes. i would like to know from the point a surveyor is appointed by the mortgage company to the mortgage company hearing back the findings.

It depends....what company are you talking about?
I had a valuation by Abbey take FIVE WEEKS to be done, yet one by Nationwide took ONE DAY....0 -
I agree with Minimike2 - can be HOURS (yes really!) but could be WEEKS! You should be able to ask for a best guess at a timescale though.Flugellover
