Hi, not sure where else to put this but here seems as good as any
We've got a few paintings in the family that we think might be worth a bob or two but have no idea exactly what. I see there are Art websites that tell you how much paintings by similar artists have sold for at auction but you have to register and pay something like £30+ to find out.
Is there any service out there that you can find out what similar paintings by an artist sell for at auction?
Any advice appreciated

Auction houses often give free valuations. Alternatively, try the Antique's Roadshow website - maybe they'll have advice?0
