Sony S700i Need to source (v) cheaply

Now I'm already fairly sure that this will be a waste of time, but you just never know..........
Other half really wants a Sony S700i mobile phone. It's more than likely going to be out of the question as I think it retails around the £400 mark and that's just too rich for us.
So, has anyone any idea where this could be got from (much) more cheaply or heard of any deals involving this phone?
Long shot I know, but the MSE peeps never cease to amaze me with their bargain hunting skills, so I figured I was as well to ask.

are you talking about payg or contract i would like one of them also even on contract but prefer not to pay for handset on a £30 tarriff0

I'd prefer if it was payg, but would certainly consider contract.
Bit worried about big phone bills though. :-/
