It's possible that the answer to 36 is that the book is handprinted. Apparantly Salamander Press was based in someone's garage.

    Might be worth noting this:
Entries must be received by 10am on Friday, April 18, and winners and answers will be announced on April 26. You don't have to answer every question to enter. Questions with multiple parts are worth one point per part. Prizes will go to the entries with the most correct answers. In the event of a tie, the winners will be drawn at random.
:jGood luck ALL compers and Thanks to all posters:T

    35. The book is Darkmans by Nicola Barker. But what was unique about it among all the others shortlisted?

As I said in my post, it had over 830 pages. It was huuuuuge!

:oApologies I was going through the questions to see which had answers and for some reason your answer, which was in quotations after the book name I didn't copy across :o. Have now rectified thanks for pointing it out.:T

Question 21 asks for the shortlisted titles as well as the author. These are :-

    Family Matters (2002)
    A Fine Balance (1996)
    Such a Long Journey (1991)
