Ideal Home Show London 2008 AWFUL!

The Ideal Home Show 2008 is NOT worth the time, effort or money this year.

We went last year and was pleasantly surprised by the amount of exhibits spread over two floors and was huge.

This year only one one floor and a vastly reduced amount of exhibitors. Extremely disappointed and wanting our money back!!

As it is the 100th anniversary of the IDH you would have expected the biggest and best show so far.

NOT worth the visit!!

Anybody else agree?

Well it was my first time, as I've just got my own home and I thought it was ok. I got some little bits for my place, but furniture wise everything looked the same. A coup upset.le of the stall owners I spoke to said they weren't going back next year. I got my ticket on the freebie board so, so I'm not that
Getting there... A deal at a time. :T

I have been quite a few times and this year the whole thing was RUBBISH. The show must be too expensive for the exhibitors and the 'Credit Crunch' affecting businesses too.
I got there at 10.05am and left before mid-day. Usually i only get home in the evening.
    Won't bother next year.
  • A work colleague went as she was appalled at the show, especially as you say, it's their 100th anniversary. She was quite a regular visitor I think but it's put her off from going again.
