Re-mortgaging and on Maternity Leave?!?

Hi
Our 2 year fixed term is due to end in December when I will be right in the middle of my maternity leave. We are currently offsetting with Intelligent Finance.
Our flat is currently worth about £220k and our mortgage is £150k, I earn £18000 (while not on mat leave!) and my partner earns approx £35k (self employed so this varies a lot!)
Will the fact that I am on SMP make a difference to what we can borrow? I don't know whether we should stay with Intelligent Finance or not either (not the best rates but you can take you ISA's with you)
Any advise from you very smart mortgage advisors???
xx

Currently doing a re-mortgage and my partner is also on maternity leave. All the lender asked for was a letter from her employer confirming her return to work date.0

YOu should be fine
DO you have any other debts? If not, then it could be agreed just on your OH income
Otherwise, as is rightly stated above, as long as you can write a letter confirming you are going back to work after your maternity leave, then you will be ok on that front as well.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
