Freezer Organizer

Not sure where to post this, but here we go.

We have a chest freezer with the normal two hanging baskets. I am currently trying to pluck up the
courage
to clear it out. Because the main compartment of the freezer has no
organization
things get lost down into the bottom, only to be found a year later.

I want to put some more baskets into the main compartment in order to improve the situation. I have done a
Google
search, and found a company called hamster cages. To buy 8 baskets would cost £108!! I am thinking about trying to find some
stack-able
plastic boxes, put am not sure if they will become too brittle in the freezer?

Has anyone got
any other
suggestions?

hi, take a look at lock&lock - you will probably get the best price at qvc -
    for example:

    http://www.qvcuk.com/ukqic/qvcapp.aspx/app.detail/params.item.827156/walk.yah.UKHG-UK14

I have got a set and a few pieces I bought in a cookware shop and found qvc prices so much cheaper - you will find uses for the containers you do not initally have a need for when buying but you'll be able to use them around the home for all sorts of things.

Hope this helps and good luck!

Hi Fenners, I too had this problem but couldn't find anything cheap enough. I then bought some re-usable big blue shopping bags from tesco (40p) I put meat in one, veg in one and potato/chips in another. They are so easy to lift out to get to things underneath and last forever. :j
