Problems with Virgin Media broadband

Options
Anyone in the Belfast area having browsing problems with certain sites (eg. eBay.co.uk , amazon.com , apple.com , parkers.co.uk etc.)? I have Virgin Media cable BB by the way .
A few people in Belfast have reported the same problems on other sites .
If you do could you report to CS , either by phone , newsgroups or email . Thank you .

Yes, same problems here. Internet was off completely all day yesterday, apparently they're doing an upgrade.

Issues for the last two days, bugged the life out of me because I thought it was my laptop at first so I spent ages digging to find out if i had somehow picked up something that was doing no good in my system.

my mum and dad having terrible trouble the last few days they couldnt get any sites on and they dont download. Now my dad cant get his ladbrokes poker on and hes about to throw computer out the window they have phoned virgin several times and they r no help whatsoever hes told them to send someone to come collect all their stuff hes had enough lol
  • Nothing to do with the upgrade for 4mb users or bandwith capping .
Only appears to be affecting Belfast at the mo. (?)
Some sites won't load , most others appear fine
On the newsgroups they suggested using a proxy TEMPORARILY - it is webcache.blueyonder.co.uk port 8080 and this will solve most problems .
