Sat Nav

I want to buy a Sat Nav, but unsure what to buy. Are there any offers out there? I keep reading different reviews about Sat Navs and am confused. Can anyone help?

I'd stick with Garmin or Tomtom, if you just want a basic satnav go for the Tomtom 'ONE' Europe, at Dixons and Amazon at the moment for £114, this comes with Western Europe mapping which may well be handy.
As far as getting from A to B, spending more won't give you better directions or mapping, Tomtom/Garmin use the same maps and directions on the more expensive units. If you pay more you get more features like a widescreen(nice but doesn't make much difference as you tend to listen for the voice instructions) and bluetooth(ability to use your satnav with your mobile as a handsfree device) you'll need to spend £150+.

To get a bit more money off the £114 price you can get PCworld to price match the Amazon price, print off the Amazon webpage showing the price and take it along to PCworld and they will match the price and give you 10% of the price difference(£160(pcworld instore price)-£114 x 10%=apx £4.50).

While i have tried many and always returned to tomtom for ease of use
its worth taking a look at the Navigo units here

The wide screen version particularly offers good value for money.
