Hi there, My 10 year old daughter has just broken her guzzunder and I am looking into purchasing a high sleeper for her, Maybe with a desk/futon/storage section underneath but after looking at various options there don't seem to be any weight/height or age guidelines for ANY of these products.
I am looking for a bed that will last her and am not sure if one of these would be appropriate.
Does anyone have older children/teens in a bed of this type and which would be better for weight? Metal or wooden frames? Bearing in mind that they broke the limp slats on the last bed I bought, She also had a metal frame one before and the metal supports were very soft metal that tended to bend once they have used it as a trampoline!!
I do have my mind set on one of these as it will help solve a lot of issues with the addition of extra pieces underneath
Thanks in advance if anybody can help me out!

One point worth thinking about is making the bed and changing sheets. My Daughter had a high cabin bed and it was really hard for me to make her bed.
Id end up needing a shower afterwards cos it wore me out lol0
