How to cook ostrich steaks

Went to macro yesterday and bought ostgich steaks because I have always wanted to try them but could do with some infomation on the best way to cook them

    Treat them like good fillet steak...rare to medium. Yum!

    Ostrich steak is lovely. I had it in a restaurant in London once. I was very suprised.

    As OP said above. Treat as steak.

  • The best way to do ostrich steaks is on the barbecue! Marinate over night in a yummy bbq sauce and let rip. A cast iron or non stick grill pan is a good substitute if its raining outside or the middle of winter...

    The main problem is not in the cooking of ostrich steaks it is in the catching them....
    You cant take the trousers off an elephant!
