CGT on a rented property whilst abroad

Hi all, hope someone knows the answer to this.
We are emigrating later this year and wish to rent out our house while we are abroad. It is our only home in the UK and we have owened it for 6 years.
I know we will have to pay tax on the rent but does anyone know if we will have to pay CGT if we stay abroad and decide to sell the house a few years down the line. (or indeed if we return home and sell it to move to a bigger house).

i'd like to hear the answer to this, as will also be emigrating to NZ in about 18 months!Boyfriend & I have saved £12K in two years, thanks to careful budgeting and keeping a record of what we spend. I've never paid myself this amount of money before - it feels great!0
