Quick-reduced wine at Asda

Went into Asda today and noticed an assistant in the wine aisle placing reduced labels on the shelf edges.

There were about 12 - 15 wines reduced. I asked the assistant about it and he said that they are going to have some new ranges and need to get rid of the old lines. Soave Classico reduced from £3.72 to £2.98 (Mr Gruel's favourite), classic claret reduced to £1.98.

Don't forget to buy 6 if you want the extra 10% off!

Similar thing in our local Co Op store today. There were several wines from South Africa including organic which were all priced at £2.99 per bottle. Organic bottle now in fridge ready to be tried tonight.
Still cant get anything as cheap as in E Leclerc in France. We bought some wine over there recently - a 6 case and two free glasses for about £1.40 per bottle. In local shops it sells for £4.89 per bottle!!
