You put me all to shame:o . Haven't been half as good as any one of you today  . Right here goes:

Went to Tesco and spent £49.27 of which:

    Beer - £15.98
    Mattress protector - £4.00

Both above unnecessary, so could have saved £20 there.

Then went to garden centre and spent £36.08 of which:

    £29.99 - clock/thermometer for garden
£6.10 on smelly candles and car smelly

All completely unnecessary (but saw clock/thermometer last year and they were sold out, so thought I had better buy it before they all went again:p )

Then went to Wilkinson and spent £57.38 of which:

    £1.00 on 3 double deckers
£15.50 on dried flowers (lovely tho)
£30 on 5 chrome light switches
£5.40 on refil for plug ins as were on offer
and a few other bits and bobs.

We did need the light switches as have just had house re-decorated and this is all that was left to 'finish off', but apart from that all the rest could have stayed on the shelves and should have bought them when I had the money.

Am really ashamed of myself, as ALL of the above (apart from food which is budgeted for!) went on the credit card. I pay this card off every month, but it means that next month will have a huge bill and this will make us short for the following month.

Wished I had stayed indoors now as feeling very guilty and have realised the errors of my ways
When you were born, you were crying and everyone around was smiling. Live your life so at the end, you're the one who is smiling and everyone around you is crying! :rotfl:

    Hi Rainbow :hello:

So jealous of your snowman. I live right near the sea and snow never settles here. ;)

    Hi Tess,

Well, it hardly ever settles here either, and I am in land-locked Surrey. You wait till it's sunny again, and the jealousy will come right back atcha! :D

  • I only spent £1 on the dartford toll yesterday, couldn't update it then though because I stayed at my parents.
