Argos price printing error

Spotted the vinci sofa's at argos that are currently £399 for the pair in Bolton yesterday. However on the advertising boards is stated that the 'was price' was £69.99, now £399. I tried to jump on this but the girl said they wouldnt honour that price. Is it right that I could demand that price of £69.99? Have I missed an absolute steal at Argos' expense?
When there's a knock at the door, why do dogs always think its for them?

How can I be missing brain cells when I have actually read and re-read the poster. Its not my fault if Argos dont proof read the advert before publishing it. So carry on laughing-you wouldnt be if I got the deal. When there's a knock at the door, why do dogs always think its for them?0 -

I wouldnt be so sure! I reserved the 8ft trampoline enclosure at £19.99 the day after(when i was supposed to pick it up, it had gone up to £99:eek: which was more than the trampoline. I phoned head office who phoned the store and told them they would have to honour the price!!:jRoll on spring, I hate the cold weather:(
