my current Mrtg is at jst under 7% with one of the lesser known providers so they will not do anything for me.............. I am not in arrears with the 1st or 2nd charge...... but I am with all the unsecured...0

if you go on with the CCCS plan does all interest stop with the credit cards and loans.
Egg have stated that as soon as I give them the CCCS ref number they will stop all interset, charges and calls and put the account to default ready to be closed.0 -

That's the general idea, should work with most creditors, though some may be a bit slow implementing it, and others may not agree, at least initially. CCCS should negotiate on your behalf to encourage creditors to agree.
Just seen on your other thread that you're not sure about CCCS, there may be issues, (I obviously can't comment without knowing what you've read), but do be aware that some of the old threads refer to a different company called CCCCS (4 C's not 3).
CCCCS (with 4 C's) aren't a charity so charge for helping with debt problems, unlike CCCS.
