Hello, hope someone might take a look at this for me please, my SL Endowment is due to mature on the 11th May 2008, I have just received the following info from them:
Target amount £19,100

Guaranteed minimum maturity value £13,757.31
Interim bonus since 16th Nov 2007 £20.35

This was over 20 years and looks like i am going to be some £2800 short ? I take it I have nothing else to come?

You're right, that's your lot. I assume you've had warning letters over recent years telling you that a shortfall was likely...

Wait until maturity though as you may find it jumps up a little. SL have a history of doing that.

Does this include the "Mortgage Promise" that they made a few years ago?

Nothing in my paperwork regarding that, I did have a letter a few years ago with that promise.

SL dont tell it to you unless you ask about it. There should be two figures indicating a range from x to y pounds being possible.

I phoned SL today and apparently I don't qualify seems it's something to do with running at 6% over a period of time, which my Endowment has not done.
