I wanna Tom Tom case....

Ok so i have a TomTom 720 and have a quick question which someone will be able to answer I'm sure.

I need to buy a case for my TomTom720 & wondered if the ones for the earlier 510/710 & XL will also fit this model.

The TomTom brand ones get duff reviews, can anyone recommend a decent one? TIA
I do hope you're telling the truth?

    I have this one

    LINK

Its been excellent and never had a problem with it. Its rigid and really protects the unit and fits snug. They are £19.99 from PCWorld but they will price match play if you dont want to wait for it to be delivered.

Thanks for the link - the reviews for TomTom's own cases are quite mixed - but i can't work out if this is just due to some numpties trying to out the unit's in the wrong way round & then wondering why they don't fit.

If you do put the unit in the wrong way then yes it probably would split the zip, but as long as its in the right way and pushed right in then there is no problem. I have had mine for 5 months now and its used at least twice a day and never a problem.

AFAIK the 510/710 was a much bulkier GPS unit, so cases would not be suitable. The XL I think is the same size as the 520/720/920 though.

I have the 720 myself, and would thoroughly recommend the PDAIR leather case (book-type), which can be had for about £15. It is beautifully made, and you can leave the TomTom in it's case while in use. Best £15 I ever spent.
