You must have a different player - this is the £9.99 one I got with built in battery

    What's a VOIP phone btw?

VoIP - Voice over Internet Protocol.

It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!

    Thank you.
A VOIP phone is basically a phone that only works on the internet. You need a program like Skype and if any of your friends or family have the same system anywhere in the world then you can call each other. When I last looked it was free to do so.

VoIP to VoIP calls are indeed free.

Some unlike Skype don't charge you for a genuine local incoming number too, so you can receive calls on the VoIP service from regular landlines and mobiles etc.

If you get a VOIP phone then all us BOC people can chat together :rotfl:
I've just had a great idea!
We should set up a BOC Club and swap stuff we don't want for stuff we do!
I wonder how many chargers will be up for grabs :rotfl:

Yeah, you could all get a free VoIP account from https://www.sipgate.co.uk, no monthly charges, calls to other Sipgate users are free as are some of the peering partners, plus you get a local number of an area code of your choice. (Note: some AOL users may have problems with the system recognising them as being in the UK, so might not offer 01 or 02 number, just need to go through a proxy or borrow somone else's internet to sign up with).
