Well after 5 months we received a copy of the report that the OR is sending to OH creditors and in it it says our vehicle has been claimed as exempt and therefore won't be realised as an asset.
Perhaps we should have phoned to check earlier as they obviously exempted it and didn't notify us (some of you may remember at OH interview they said they would probably need more info on vehicle and would write to us and we never heard!! and were too scared to call to ask), but what a relief, we can now start catching up on jobs on it that we have been putting off until we had heard (at least we've had time to put a few pennies away towards them:D).
What is the next step? the letter gives the creditors chance to write if they have any further info but no formal claim will need to be put through and that no trustee other than the OR will be appointed as there are no assets.

I'm beginning to wonder if this is the norm, the envelope just had our address on, no name which i think was a bit off as i opened it instead of OH who it was meant for.
It has a letter adressed to one of the creditors and a few other sheets reporting the findings of their investigations and a information sheet for the creditor - i assumed this was just a copy for our records but after dalips comments i'm beginning to wonder.
Anyways at the end of the day it has told us that the vehicle is exempt which is the important thing for us to know, another thing to cross off the list to worry about what would happen. We love what we are doing and we love why we're doing it!!0 -
Thats good news PP.
I never got the creditors letter
i wonder if they are supposed to send it to you. JCS, any advice? The first time we said hello, was the first time we said goodbye. As the angels took your tiny hand and flew you to the sky-you forever left us breathless. RIP my beautiful granddaughter

Shouldn't be sent out to anyone other than the creditors, must have been an admin mix up.
And regards the car, they should send you a letter which is basically a disclaimer and state you are responsible for insurance, tax, MOT, etc. Might be worth a quick phone call just so you have it on file.0 -
My OH got a letter from his pension company telling him the OR had no interest in his pension (something to do with the date it was taken out or something, cant find the blessed thing now ..oops) but that is all he received.0
