Saturday 5/04/08 What small dfw things have you done today???

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.

But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free.

Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging the washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.

So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.

Today I have /will
  • Checked online banking -
  • Done clicks
  • Storecupboard lunch
  • Working on veggie plot befor sun disappears:D
  • Try and not spend any money
Enjoy the weekend everyone:j :j

Ever wonder about those people who spend £2 apiece on those little bottles of Evian water? Try spelling Evian backward.

Good luck everyone who is having a flutter on the national:D . Me and OH have placed several free bets, and spent £10 on other bets, and a couple of nags in sweepstake.:o
Probably come to nothing but makes the race more interesting.

Good luck with the geegees, I had a go at signing up to betfair via quidco but only have a solo card so no way of verifying my age.

  • Afternoon all
Have had a pretty good DFW day, nsd apart from at the hairdresser for my cut and colour and my mum paid as part of my birthday pressie, so am being spoilt and eating them out of house and home! they don't mind though :o also my mum's best friend had sent a late bday card so I am £20 up from that, unexpectedly :D
wanted to do the £50 cashback betfair thing for my OH but his new switch card hasn't arrived in time, very annoying!!
