its the amount of charges im annoyed about . but would a loan shark get away with charging you £39 if they lend you £2.68 that is just pure and utter rip off . high st robbery is what i would say . why didnt they return it saying not enough funds then me pay them £20 instead no option no choices .0 -
This happened to me once ~ not for quite as much but all the same im skint and cant afford these outragous charges!!
I rang them up and after many different people passing me along the line they said they would wipe these charges as i was having a time of financial difficulty (you dont say ~ its mainly through lloyds in the first place!).
They wont allow me to increase my overdraft anymore which in times of desparation have been really annoying but does stop me getting deeper in debt i supposeProud to be Dealing with my Debts

they said i could not have a overdraft because i didnt have enough money going into my account . but they will give me £2.68 unplanned overdraft so they can charge me £390 -

Do you honestrly think that £120 + £11 interest is a fair charge to pay??
Surely in fact you were £3000+ overdrawn to be pedantic..??
So therefore in conclusion you did kno you were overdrawn to an extent.
The correct statement would be that you didnt know you had exceeded your overdraft facility (which I would consider to be overdrawn in the first instance)0 -
i would like to send my bank (lloyds tsb, aka, sheriff of nottingham) the letter reclaiming my last six years charges, but if i am in total debt with them ie, current account , overdraft etc,
will they take the ten pound fee and use it to pay into my account or is that ten pounds protected and will they have to accept it for what it was sent for, or, would a gyro check from the post office be nore secure.
