I've looked all around this site. There is no privacy policy anywhere. This is not only illegal in the UK, it makes it unsafe to enter any of your personal information.
Under the Data Protection Act, any website that asks for personal info MUST tell you exactly what they will use your information for. Personal information includes
Email address
Home address
Telephone number
Any information that can identify you.
If a website asks for any of this information, they are legally obliged to tell you how they will use this.
Also, if a website uses cookies on their website. By law, they must tell you how they are using them and why.
Any website in the UK that doesn't have a privacy policy for personal information is not only breaking the law. They could sell your information on to spammers or marketing companies without you knowing. I would NEVER deal with a company that doesn't publish a policy on this. How many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb?

Did you try:
https://www.directcosmetics.com
https://www.fragrancedirect.co.uk
They're both excellent - been using them for 5+ years for pressies and stuff, no probs as yet. The only thing I would say is some of them are testers, fine for personal use, but you may not want to give them as pressies (although I give them the OH!!)0 -
I used perfume point last week as it was a lot cheaper for a fragrance I have been trying to get. Seemed absolutely perfect to me, good email response, quick delivery, and I also saved a bundle on the high street price.0

They offer a chance to sign up for their mailing list. This on its own requires them to publish a privacy policy. They will also need an address to send the products to. This is personal information and requires a privacy policy. If they use cookies, they must tell us how they are using them. This is also covered under the Data Protection Act.
ANY site that wants ANY personal info must publish a privacy policy. This is nothing to do with the security of the payment system. The Data Protection Act is there to protect our privacy and personal information. It is law. There is no exemption. They can be reported to the Information Commisioner if they don't publish a privacy policy. As it stands, this site is breaking the law. It is also not safe to enter any personal information into a site if they don't tell you exactly how they will use this info. How many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb?

Here's some info for you........
What does the Data Protection Act mean online?
The Data Protection Act deals with any personal information that is collected or stored on paper and electronically.
Every time you enter any personal information into a website - your e-mail address, postal address, age or phone number - the website is legally obliged to tell you what it is using it for.
The website must also provide you with the option to prevent them passing it on to other parties.
This might not seem relevant to you, but all the junk mail you get in your inbox is due to someone passing on your e-mail to a marketing company.
The Data Protection Act is there to protect all your personal information, from bank details and hospital records, down to e-mail addresses and phone numbers.
And as more information is being transferred from paper documents into digital form, it is important to know where you stand.
What should you look for?
Personal data refers to information about a living person that can be used to identify them in any way.
A website is legally obliged to alert you to the fact that it is collecting this information, and it does this in a number of ways.
All sites that collect personal information should provide a 'Use of Data' notice, which should describe all the purposes for which the information collected will be used.
This includes information collected via cookies, 'web bugs' or other hidden software.
The data that is requested should be the minimum necessary, and it should only be kept for the shortest length of time appropriate for the use that has been agreed.
What do they use my data for?
Although your personal data is on the internet, that doesn't mean it is in the public domain.
Despite the open appearance of the world wide web, you still have a legal right to know what is being done with your personal information under the Data Protection Act.
Many sites use personal information for marketing, promotional or research purposes, but to do this the site must ask your permission first.
The page the data is collected from should have a tick-box that you use to 'opt-in' or 'opt-out' of the option to provide your personal data. If this box isn't there, then the website cannot use your information.
Another tick-box is required if this personal information is going to be passed on to a 'third party' for similar marketing purposes.
What are my rights?
Under the Data Protection Act, you have the right to see all information stored on record about yourself on paper and online.
This includes records held by both public and private organisations - anyone from computer dating agencies and credit card companies to the Department of Social Security and the police.
Most official organisations do have a justifiable reason for storing information about you, but commercial companies must provide a specific reason for keeping personal data on record - or else it must be deleted by law.
You are well within your rights to request any personal information stored about you on any website.
All organisations have to provide that information within 40 days or you can report them to the Information Commissioner.
