This TV includes a cabinet for under £300. Delivery is £34.99 though.
I have used this company in the past and found their service excellent.

But it is a Thompson! 100Hz doesn't always mean a better picture. It is down to personal preference really. One plus the JVC has is that it's got 3 Scart sockets... (oh and it's a JVC!)0 -

Is Thomson bad?
I found a review of the Thomson when it was first released in November 2003. Was pretty favourably reviewed at £700.0 -
i've got a thompson, cost me £250 18 months ago, great 28" widescreen pure flat telly,
even had excellent reviews in the mags
my parents £600 32" thompson is not the best tho, seems to lack something in pic qualitymoney saving my @rse.
I've spent 10x as much as I would if I had never discovered this website :-)

I don't know either model.... But I wouldn't buy one off the net unless I'd seen the picture first. I have a JVC 28" and it's a great picture (and 50Hz) but it doesn't mean the 32" has. The choice is yours... both prices are ok.0

I purchased a Thomson set some years ago now & had no problem at all with it,good value for money. I believe Thomson are one of the largest manufacturers in europe so think you can buy with confidence.0

I bought this tv a year or two ago and after 1 day it started to make an unusual high pitched noise, the TV was replaced with the same model, the noise started again on the new TV after about a week. An engineer came out and tried to repair it as they said it was a 'common fault' on Thompson TV's (this model). I then bought a Toshiba TV instead as this was not able to be fixed.
Only passing on my experience with Thompson TV's. I am sure that i was unlucky- twice and this will not happen to everyone.

The Thomson 100hz TVs are usually excellent and have none of the usual 100hz traits ( smearing of fast moving objects etc).
JVC on the other hand have done great 50hz TVs but very poor 100hz models. One 100hz JVC widescreen i was looking at in Comet looked shockingly bad with the worst smearing i have ever seen on a TV ( and it was one of the most expensive 32" sets in a designer looking casing).
With this JVC model being 50hz it should be good, but then so should the Thomson 100hz model.
The high pitched noises are usually down to faulty power supplies.0 -
Thanks for this I've ordered one will see how it goes,0

Thomson took over Ferguson and have also marketed under Daewoo.
I've had a Thomson telly for years and it's never let me down (touching wood as I type)0
