Halifax become the latest Lender to load high LTV's

A new pricing band will see homebuyers who haven't managed to save 25% of the value of their property pay 0.14% on top of the headline rate of any deal.
But the lender will tempt people into putting down bigger lump sums by setting rates at 0.1% less if you have a deposit of 25% or more.
Halifax will also launch a range of products for first time buyers, including a five-year fixed rate deal at 5.69% at 90% Loan To Value.
