Sorry to hear you've still had no word.....as you know ED is never guaranteed even if you've been sent paperwork & always replys on the OR caseload so if the office is busy usually your bottom of the pile...just keep watching the insolvency site the OR sometimes writes to inform you of discharge sometimes they dont..but the site will always show firstWe all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will0

I bet the number of hits that site gets in a day makes interesting reading We all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will0 We all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will0

Hi tmd - it certainly is frustrating for you - especially as you have filled in the forms that would indicate that an early discharge is imminent.
Still, they do say that 'a watched kettle never boils'. In my case, I received my early discharge after six months. It was totally unexpected, particularily since my bankruptcy was 'Creditor (HMRC) Petitioned. In fact, when I received the 'Early Discharge Notice' it was actually stamped, by the court, one month before I received it.
That said, although I was pleased to have received an Early Discharge, it still didn't 'feel' real until the 12 month anniversary of my lonely walk down the hallowed coridors of the Royal Courts of Justice.
Chin up.I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

Hmm I was the same.....and when it came to "d" day I refreshed the page at least 6 times before it sunk in!
Have to agree with rog though...my ED came at just over 8mnths if felt good to be discharged but the feeling a few weeks ago of my 12mnth anniversary felt tons betterWe all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will0

It took 3 1/2 months for my ED to come through after returning the forms. That was at about 10 months in, and in all honesty I'd just about given up hoping it would happen.
I hindsight it doesn't mean very much really, but it did at the time.:oFree/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB
