Free Daily Mail texting service

I thought I'd already seen this on here, but I couldn't find it. No matter...

Does anyone know about this 'free' service from the Daily Mail?

"FREE unlimited MailTXTs to other users anywhere in the world Invite all your family & friends to join up Worldwide sms to non users for only 5p"

https://mailtxt.org/popup/DMdownload.php

There is a minor cost - 50p - for every 100 texts, but that's redeemable so in fact it is a free service.

It appears to be real, but I'm just a bit dubious. Says it came from (This email was sent by Associated Newspapers Limited, Northcliffe House, 2 Derry Street, London W8 5TT Registered in England and Wales with company number 3363661) in the email. But I've never heard of it before.

Anybody???

Cheers all.
The atmosphere is currently filled with hypocrisy so thick that it could be sliced, wrapped, and sold in supermarkets for a decent price and labeled, 'Wholegrain Left-Wing, Middle-Class, Politically-Correct Organic Hypocrisy'.
