Re-Mortgage with bad credit history HELP!!

Hi, we currently have a fixed rate mortgage that is due to return to variable in July. Our circumstances are as follows:I (Mr) was discharged from Bankruptcy in 2004.We have had problems in the past but are now ok with all things on DDebit. We have arrears on the mortgage which are being paid of at £100/ month on top of normal payments on DDebit.I KNOW that we are a liability but I am employed PAYE and have been for a year rather than previously being self employed, my wife works part time and I cant help thinking that out current Mortgage Company are screwing us because of our history.Dont get me wrong, I know we will not get anything like 'High Street Rates' but just want a fair dealAny help would be very gratefully receivedThank YouStuart & Jude

whilst you are in arrears with your mortgage, it will very much depend on your loan to value. How much is your house worth and what do you owe on it?

How long have you been meeting your full contractual payments for?

    It depends on many things.

    How much do you owe?
How much is the house valued at?
What payments have been missed in the last 0-3 months 3-7 months and 7-12 months?
Have all "arranged" payments been made?
Any other adverse credit since discharge?
    How much are your incomes?
    Who is the current lender?
    Any other credit outgoings?
