in Cutting tax
Given 5th April is a Saturday, have we actually got to Monday to get tax returns in? (Given I assume there will be no-one in the tax office on Saturday)
How will it work if you are hand delivering a tax form? (or is this me being wishful thinking..?). I have a claim to make thats quite a few years old, on behalf of my mum.
Basically whats the latest time I've got here?!
thanks

5th April is end of the tax year not when you need to have your tax return in by. You won't get your tax form until around 2 weeks after this and there are various dates for submission depending on how you do it. Latest date is end of January 2009.0

Thanks that's avoided a pointless panic.
You can go back 6 years I gather , does that mean at the moment the furthest I can claim back is 2002-2003 tax year?0 -
Yes that sounds correct.0
