Abbey stupid

arranged an abbey mortgage at 84.9% LTV to fast track it, but the purchase price went down thus pushing me over, requiring wageslips:eek:

They held a retention of 2k but considering the purc price is less than the value given in current cond, they are still holding it back.

How I am screwed and they also said the offer they did before at a higher LTV was incorrect and would have been resinded,

What's wrong with them requiring payslips? Even on fast track they could've asked for them at any time. If you've not been entirely honest about your income that's your own fault.
I don't see how you've been 'screwed' by Abbey at all.

Tough, the market has changed and the lenders will be doing what they should have done a while back! What is the problem with payslips?? Are you telling porkys?
