in Cutting tax
2 bed flat moved in sumemr of 1976, currently charged as band B. all other flats the same, apart from one smaller f, which is A.
another similar sized block in the same road is a mix of a/b/c, though room numbers are unknown.
latest sale of flat in my block was £185k.. now this is where i get confused..
date 1 i put in as 1976?
date 2 1991?
that gives £860k odd.. ?? is that good?

I take it you are using a house price calculator like this one.
www.nationwide.co.uk/hpi/
Enter the value (£185000)
Valaution date 1 should be 2008 (or known date of last sale)
Valuation date 2 should be 1991
Region can be set to your area
Result will give value in 1991(".)0
