    No mate, after the "grabbit quick" advice I had from 4 advisors (including you and also 'my own'), it's expected to drop onto the doorstep any time now.

    A bit late I know but the Coop are offering 5 year fixed ar 5.54%. The fees slightly higher £ 938. Still would this not have been a better deal?

    Woodgnome, it may have been a better deal, I dunno. My W-o-M advisor said he couldn't beat the Abbey one, and that was the feeling from everyone who posted too, so there must be something in it. By staying with the Abbey I avoided MEAF, legals, vals as well as the lower fee you mentioned. It was an immediate offer too. I'm happy to have got it.

    Dan, I received the offer and have posted it back. I'll give them a ring today to make sure they've got it.
