first Direct Offset

Hi,

am thinking about taking the first direct offset mortgage for 5 years'. I am a customer. The rate is good and it is 5.29. No one will phone me back until 16 April but the assured me i would have plenty of time to complete by July.

At the moment i have a separate bank account from my husband.

I know you can just pay in the amount you need for the mortgage but do other people have all their money in one account and would this be the most beneficial way of using the facility or do you think it will cause trust problems.

I've almost completed my remotgage with FD (I wasn't a customer previously but started the application in Feb)
You can link accounts, so you and H could keep your own accounts but still get the benefits of all your money being offset.
