I wanna pair of twin beds joining to make king size

Good afternoon, Money Savers.
I am in the process of equipping a holiday cottage, and I want to put a pair of beds into the master bedroom that will join together to make a king sized bed. This will mean more flexibility when letting the cottage - some will prefer a twin room rather than a double bed.
Single beds are generally 90cm wide; 2 x 90cm = 180cm which is a super-king sized bed. There is room enough for this, but it poses problems with buying bed linen. It may be possible to buy 2 x 80cm = 160cm king sized bed.
In either case I would also want to put a mattress pad over the joined beds for both longer mattress life and bridging the divide!
Does anybody know of a supplier? This is an arrangement I have seen in overseas hotel rooms.
Or do you have better suggestions?
Many thanks to all in advance,
BBL.

Hi BBL,
Google "zip and link bed" and you should find what you are looking for...
This was the first link I found http://www.aaabedz.co.uk/airsprung-beds-ortho-master-super-king-size-zip-link-divan-bed-p-915.html
Don't quote me but I am sure Hotels just use a blanket under the sheet when making up the beds... although I am not quite sure where your sheet issue comes from...
2 x 90cm (3ft) beds = 180cm wide and http://www.johnlewis.com/2156/Product.aspx fits 180cm by 200 bed (although I have a king size flat sheet on my SK bed and it fits - the other colour I have in SK and it is huge...)
Good Luck!0 -
"Zip and link" were the magic words, thanks for that ChasingButterflies.0

I have a 6ft (wide) x 7ft (long) bed and the 'Deep sided' Super King Size fitted cotton sheets from Dunhelm fit perfectly and are a fraction of the price of the tailor made ones.I am a Mortgage Adviser
