I've never had a Boots card, I'm a bloke, why would I? But I can't help noticing that if you spend 49p on those stay dry things (not sure what they are, but it might be better if it stays that way) you get 200 points worth £2. Is there any limit to the number of these you can buy? Could I buy 100 for £49 and then have £200 to spend in store? Would I want to be seen walking out of boots with 100 Stay Drys?

You get the coupons for these out the Advantage Card Machine. The offers you get there are tailored to your spending habits so it's doubtful if an obviously male card would get female incontinence pad vouchers, but hey...I'm a middle aged female and I never got any of these vouchers at all. Also if you do get an offer it's usually limited to two or three a day, or a certain number over the time frame of the offer. If you could print out 100 of these vouchers it would be great, but you'd never find the pads because we'd all be there first.

Still, it's worth getting a card, male or female. Boots can be more expensive than the competition but it does a lot of good deals like the 241 and 342s.. Do men not need soap, shampoo, toothpaste etc? And there always seems to be offers on men's toiletries, because I think a lot of this sort of stuff is bought by wives and mums. Before Christmas there are Extra Point shopping nights with an extra 1000 points on a £50 shop for example, and there is a 75% sale on after Christmas to spend the pooints on. So that's gifts for relatives sorted too.
    Val.

I noticed today that Pantene was on Buy 1 get second half price. I wonder if there will be a glitch on till if you use PC vouchers could combine £2 off and 200 points and come away with a lot.

yes you can, i did and it worked;)

Off to boots tomorrow ... yipeeee ! Going to try the Olay hand cream (I know which one now lol), something else and PC for free wipes. Last time I went they had no reduced stuff so hoping they've pulled their finger out and got on with it :p ! Might use my Roc voucher but might do another transaction with that. ;) I'd love one of those Roc gwp too so hopefully they've got them !

On another note, I think we need a new thread as I've just got up and read through the last 3 pages and i'm kinda confused  ......... none of it makes sense, or maybe it's just me not had enough coffees yet ! :D

    :p
I tried to get the black max factor box once and came up at £6.50 i just said oh i thought it was cheaper than that, i will leave it thanks and i have also tried other gwp and even bought the products but not up to the correct value. When the till bleeps and the sa's say no i just say oh i couldn't have read the sign right thought it was was with one purchase etc

You girls's are really lucky all the tills are set up to bleep at all my nearest stores. No gwp as ever gone through free without spending the correct amount.

If anyone missed out on the roc wash bag there is lots on ebay. one is only 10p so far but £2.00 p&p. I may be tempted to get a roc gwp from there if i see a cheap one.

That does happen sometimes, I will try and answer though. I THINK the offer is that the ROC GWP gopes through free without any ROC purchases. Please feel free to correct me if I am wrong though :D
Will not spend more money:naughty:, but will spend more time looking for that great bargain!
