Today I too tried the Expert baby 1/2 price voucher on wipes & till bleeped. SA said NO but I mentioned it working before & she, after asking a colleague agreed to over ride it. I had another lot to go through in the 2nd shop too & she basically let the till decline then refunded me the difference.
Lovely SA too & I got a survey which we giggled about.0 -
I had an interesting experience today as I had the usual 500pts when you spend £10 in the baby dept. I spent over £10 but the till bleeped so the SA said it was because I had used the free organics jar voucher (value 60something pence). So I said I don't think so as I had still spent £10. Then she said it was because I had used the voucher and she read the back of the voucher saying not to be combined with any other offer...so I said I don't think it means that. So off she went looking for support - one SA told me it had to be Boots products only ...so I said I don't think so as it doesn't say that and I had used a previous one on SMA Progress...so then SA said well, I'll have to call a manager from upstairs...so I said ok then. I would never have pushed this far before but I felt confident that I had done the right thing in my spend. The manager came down, thoroughly checked everything and then agreed and overrode the till
I even mentioned that I had a new Ad card and maybe that was why it was bleeping - maybe the numbers didn't match. What a palava - spent 15 mins for transaction to be completed. But well worth the 500pts. Surprisingly didn't get a survey.
2 x 50p off Hipp dried packet didn't work on creamed porridge - it was on offer at save £1 when you buy 2 so I didn't push that one.
I noticed 500 pts off £20 Avent spend too.
Didn't notice anything else with lots of points likethe Nvea q10 recently. Anyone else???Here come the girls....100% Gorgeous!!!0 -
Hi everyone,
Does anyone know if the male No. 7 face products are included in the 3 for 2 on facial care? I know No. 7 is on 3 for 2, but I was thinking of getting 1 x male No. 7 product, 1 x roc wipes, and 1 x olay toner to use up some vouchers. Does anyone know if this will qualify for the 3 for 2?
Thanks in advance0
