Nice to find a Bootser that uses this store, its not my closest but Hanley is better for shopping so tend to go there rather than the other stores.
I go to hanley everyday sometimes twice! The maxfaxtor sa does guard the gwp with her life but she is also really nice and approachable. There are a couple of unfriendly sarcastic sa's(all female)but everyone else is happy to help.Recently the clearance stands have disappointed so I am not surprised that they have disappeared altogether. No chance of sneaking a no7 gwp with the 342 as the no7 lady has packaged them into cellophane:rolleyes:Love can tame the wildest0 -

Very disappointed
Might drop boots an email about it actually......
If they are rubbish at that price then I'd write an email/letter. Once before I complained to Molton Brown that their cleansing body wash hardly foamed at all and I despite using tons I did not feel very clean after my shower etc. Not impressed for £16 etc. Their cheeky reply, cheeky and short, was that it was 'cleansing' and therefore not supposed to cause lots of foaming when washing.
So if either of you send an email/letter I'd also say that you also did not feel clean or something as they may also believe that either of these products are not supposed to caused alot of foaming.
I know what you mean though...I never feel clean till I've rinsed away enough bubbles for a 'foam party' and come out of shower/bath looking like a lobster :rotfl:
OMG @ the reply from Molton Brown...... I would have expected better from them
It does actually say on the bottle, along the lines of "squeeze a small amount onto a shower puff/sponge to create a luxurious foaming lather"
Am definitely going to send an email about it to Boots. Watch this space, will update if I get a reply. You can't control everything in life....... your hair was put on your head to remind you of that

I only go to Hanley about every 6 weeks lol, do the bulk of my shopping online, think of all the bargains you can spot if you go everyday. May go next weekend as need some new glasses and an eye test - dont usually go to Boots for the test but am doing this time since I discovered this thread and the points.
Have you noticed if the hair accessories are on offer? Would love some new pony bands for work and lots of people seem to have got some great offers.
I always try and pay downstairs as its quieter and more friendly or at the perfume counter, find that the makeup stand ladies try and push products or their help on you and I just like to browse.0 -

I try too look for offers by looking in every aisle and corner-I am well known there now and tend to get alot of looks!I think boots do an excellent eyetest and really put you at ease.

Brylcream is apparently on offer in Tesco at present for half price. Combine it with the £1 off coupon that is going around takes it down to under a pound.
Sorry a bit off topic by going to Tesco but thought worth a mention!
And for those doing the Clinique thing... there have been adverts on the local radio about their foundation. 'Guarenteed to make your skin look smoother or your money back!' Does not say all the terms and conditions but might be worth asking as there is the potential for 'free' foundation!0 -
