    Hi everyone

My local had reduced boots wash bags £2 - £3 that can be used with current acm voucher
Loads of sanctuary foot care £1 (scrubs, wipes, buffers)
Ruby wax makeup bag £1.75 - got that
bath mat £1.75 in normal section
loads of nailcare potions and varnishes reduced in nails assesories sections
    no 7 nail varnish 20p.

what does the ruby wax bag look like anyone? Probably missed it several times now.

Yes...It is annoying that they charge more than everywhere else & you were right...512mb. But as I said if anyone's looking to boost points for a purchase then it's not to bad.

    oh yes i realise this
sorry wasnt whingeing about the points boost aspect just that they are so darned expensive in the 1st place

its just that a friend of mine kind of got harrased into buying one of these with her camera the other week and i got annoyed on her behalf - sorry!

Problem is boots charge far too much for their memory cards. i bet the £13.99 one was only 512mb. for the same price you can get 2gb on play or amazon.

sorry - but it really annoys me that they charge this much for them!!
    :o

You're right - it is a stupidly high price, but at Play.com you could buy 2 x 2gb for less than £12 (for their own brand SD card) !!
7dayshop is also worth a look - they have very good prices!

To keep it boots related...... the 500 pts vouchers were great when Boots were clearing out their memory cards and some lucky so-and-sos were picking up the cards and getting more back in points than they were paying! I'm only jealous as I didn't find any.....:rotfl:
  • MSCheeky you should do
    Concealer
    foundation
    line lift

get concealer free, take £12 0ff again for 342, then give free line lift voucher leaving you about £1.25 to pay!
Will not spend more money:naughty:, but will spend more time looking for that great bargain!

Boots in Salisbury have small clearance section upstairs near the nappies; picked up a lge TB beauty bag with no price, so grabbed a few other bits and asked for a price check. After much waiting for the poor older SA to go downstairs and back again they decided to send the fitter young SA upstairs to the stock room (lots of stairs) for another with a barcode. Turns out it was on clearance and half price again at £1.25 :j so I bought both for £2.50. Got the impression they had more so keep an eye out. This store has been good for clearance in the past as have got Avene face cream and lots of No 7 for 20p before.

Just got back from my first ever bootsing trip and am well chuffed - got everything i wanted (i may not have got the biggest bargains on every possibility, but was determined only to get the things i wanted!)... thanks for all the posts - would never have thought to try some of these!

    First run through:
    no. 7 foundation (13.25)
    no. 7 concealer (0.00)
    no. 7 day cream (13.25)
    total to pay : £14.50

    Second run through
17 eyeliner (couldn't find any of the reduced ones and needed one anyway) £2.29
17 lip glaze (free with voucher)
    17 spring pallet (free)
no.7 pink GWP (in bristol cribbs - thanks for the heads up) - £1
    total to pay £3.29

When i was paying for the second lot, the woman commented that yesterday someone had bought 7 of the pink no.7 boxes - anyone here by any chance?

Claire+3 shops at Cribbs...Claire was it you?

I reserved some school shools @ Jones in the mall & almost drove to collect...wish I had as I could've got some of these for the school raffle. Instead they store transfered them which was nice but a few pink boxes for a £1 sounds brill.

If anyone from this neck of the woods spots them for £1 or there abouts PLEASE let me know as I can grab some to pop on the indulgence raffle stall. I like to run the cake stall myself......
