  • Just back from watford harlequin - they've got lots of no7 nail sets in their stock room....the no7 SA refused to believe they were £2.50 each and was adament they were £10. I said sweetly, please could she go get 3 so we could try. What do you know...£2.50 EACH! yay!!:j So got 3 for £5.

Also (finally) had the guts to try the MF GWP....disguised the 1st one with wet n wild lip/cheek/eye stick. Second time, SuperKeenMoneySaver Snr got one with the 99p Wet n Wild pencil sharpener. :j

No clearance or Ted baker bags in either Waterfields or Harlequin to be seen. But Harlequin did have the StayDry trial packs but couldn't think when I'd use them :S

    HTH :D

I bet you couldn't believe how young he looked using all that anti ageing Q10 !!! LOL D/D does only go Wed/Thurs at the mo!

Will check for the TB bags at Cheshire Oaks tomorrow for you , is there a specific one that you want me to look for or don't you mind?

    :A
:rotfl: I saw your Mum today too. Nearly ran me over with the buggy coming out of the cloakroom :D

I've got no real preference on the bags TBH ;) . I nipped in to the tiny Bromborough Boots today but couldn't find anything exciting. No clearance in there at all.

Spotted a few 5 Day Detox packs on clearance in Marketplace for £3.37 so bought one on impulse, clearance sticker said it was short dated May but just looked and expiry date is July 2008. Anyone tried these before, what am I letting myself in for?

    Hi geordie_lass and all :)

They sometimes have these on offer locally, so can you let me know if they're any good please?

I bought a biocentre Detox Express yesterday (cheaper version of the one you bought I think). Haven't got a clue how that works either, so any advice much appreciated ;)

Hi I did a stupid thing yesterday. I bought 2 no 7 foundations and picked up the 2 free concealers and it charged me for the first foundation then it just took off the concealer and then charged me for the other foundation and gave me the free concealer. I haven't learned have I? I looked at my bill and was very puzzled as after doing this it added £7.00 on for a no 7 item. I did not have another item. I made them take the other item off for £7.00 and said I should have had another foundation and concealer and the SA was really mad at me and said I would not get them for free. So I backed down and left. Can I take the foundations and concealers back and rebuy 3 foundations and 3 concealers and only be charged for the 2 foundations? The Sa assured me that I was dreaming if I thought that was going to work. My big question is what are you allowed to take back to Boots and what will they not accept? I read on another thread here to take the foundations back. I thought that you could not take back makeup. Oh and by the by if you buy something from Max Factor (I bought a lip gloss on sale with £2.00 off and used a £2.00 mailing voucher) then I picked up the yellow Max Factor box and it went through like a charm. In there was a full lip gloss, a lovely mirror, mf foundation small tube and some olay moisturiser or something and £3.00 voucher off mf lip gloss. So really good deal to get free. Voucher has to be used up by the end of April and I nearly didn't open the box as I thought I would give it to my friend as a wee pressie. Got the yellow mf box at Ayr and went to Greenock today to try and buy mf lipgloss with my coupon and get another free box but no boxes in site at Greenock.
Also got 17 lip gloss for 3.79 used mag coupon and got the pot of lip gloss free that was supposed to be 3.79 then used a £1.00 off coupon and picked up the free eyeshadow pallet. So only paid 2.79 for it all. Taffy

I went to 2 Boots today and bought............... Nothing:eek:
Went to TC they had the expert tins in but post preg shampoo & conditioner still full price (had them scanned £2.99) so gave that a miss as i had got previously for 74p and BOGOF pc voucher. Thought about the No17 eye pallatte/gwp and common sense prevailed i don't need it so i left that. Was gonna do a baby shop, but then realised i didn't have enogh huggies vouchers with me:mad: . TC also had the cow weaning sets that someone had gotten for £2.50, had them scanned £10 so left that. Saw the Arden GWP flowerpot things looked gorgeous but didn't get one.
Noticed the MF GWP nails were not to hand on the stand any more, saw three secreted away below the counter but have enough of these already so gave those a miss.

I don't know what was wrong with me, might need to see a pharmacist, Boots of course.:rotfl:
Asked about 3rd stage car seats to spend my points on at TC cos i need one for DD1, they don't do them!

What is the cheapest option to get the baby change bag with the PC coupon?

Are you wanting to use a 500pts on £10 spend and do you have a little one?

I just want to spend the very least amount of money to get the bag so I can add baby items to it over time to give as a hamper later in the year. No little one here.
  • rumour has it that it will be triple points may bank holiday weekend(probably wys £15)
    can anyone confirm?

I reckon if you took it all back & said I didn't buy to the best of my advantage & want to repurchse they ought to let it go, Try & take to a different store & say you werent pleased with the SA attitude & felt you couldnt face her & you'll be buying all your No7 for 'this' store in future.

Also the yellow MF is that a GWP in a yellow/black pencil case type bag? What are the normal conditions for getting this please?
