cook mince, eat following day?

Hi, wondering if anybody can help me. I defrosted mince for todays tea and now unexpectedly i am going out for tea. would the mince be ok if i cook it today with the gravy and stuff and have it tomorrow for tea instead, or would it go off?

thanks in advance.

that'll be fine. In such cases I only reheat once, and only cos my mum told me to. Also it can be frozen after cooking, and again defrosted and reheated once.

It will be fine, just let it cool down then keep it in the fridge, I do this often and I think it tastes much better the day after.

Another one who agrees! Just remember to put it in the fridge - I forgot on Sunday and thus had to throw it away.

Chilli con carne definately does. If I have time when cooking this, I let it cool down and heat it up again. There is some serious biochemistry going on in there.
