Boots online (and it may be the same in store) have 50% off a their packets of 30 concentrated super strength fish oil capsules. They are also on 3 for 2. They are £3.50 per packet or just over £27 for a year's supply.
I used the voucher/ code for 1000 points (worth £10) which is on the online discount vouchers thread. This made it an equivalent price of £17 for a year's supply. This is a fantastic price as the branded version , Eye q is around £21 a packet.

I work with children with special needs and have seen good results from fish oil. The links to the trials are on the boots website with the fish oil. I bought this for my daughter with dyslexia.

How long does it take before the oils start working ? (if they are going to, that is) My son has great difficulty concentrating and is about to take his final year (gcse`s) at secondary school. I f he doesnt concentrate more he will not get great results.It seems to be a male family thing, what do you think?

It can take two to three months, but if you start now you should see the benefits in time for it to make an impact on his exams.
I would stress that fish oil doesn't work for everyone, but there have been remarkable results for a large number of children. Having read up on it and seen children it has worked for, I have decided to try it with my own daughter.
Concentration problems can run families, but that can be connected with a need for extra omega oil intake because of dietry patterns. If one member of the family is lacking omega oils it often follows that other members may be.

I know the benefits, but often heistate to recommend it to parents (especially those on a tight budget) because of the high cost. At this price it is worth a try.

But before you part with your money at BOOTS you must understand the [url=]Durham Trial[/url] used 500mg of EPA per day. ZIPVIT OMEGA JUICEprovides per teaspoon DHA content 600mg EPA 900mg per 5ml dosage a 360ml bottle is 4.95 so half a teaspoon a day will just about meet the effective 500mg EPA threshold for 7p a day. Even the super strength fish oil capsules don't usually provide anything like this amount of EPA. So before you order check the EPA content and how many capsules you need to take to achieve about 500mg of EPA daily and then work out the cost of that. I think you will find that even with Boots half price and 3 for 2 you will be better off a zipvit.
