I have a few game discs off eBay that are a little too scratched to play (god bless sellers who fail to mention this...), but they don't seem irreparable. Does anyone know any cheaper solutions that either Gamestation (I think they're about £1.99) or GAME (about £3)? Any online places you can post discs to? I'm looking for propper re-surfacing or major buffing though, not a simple wipe the smudge marks off, i've already tried that

brasso does it for me, if that helps0

Most software companies will supply you with a new disc for a couple of quid. Takes a couple of weeks to get them back. Done it a few times with discs that the kids have damaged.0

liquid or wadding? I'm seeing conflicting answers on google, although everyone sugesting liquid is also saying polish in a circular motion which i know is very wrong0 -
Liquid but only to the damaged area. As you say polishing in a circular motion is not a good idea. The wadding is ok also. Just be careful.0
