Go to Woolworths and do a search for "Scalextric Rally" and you will find one of Scalextrics new SPORT sets reduced from £49.99 down to £29.98.
Should make a nice birthday present or xmas present for those who are really keen to save money!!

We recommend these sets for expanding/repairing an older set, or for resurrecting a pile of older style track. If you're buying this set as a first Scalextric set, don't worry though - there is no problem obtaining classic Scalextric track (despite what some dealers may say) as SCX of Spain now make the entire range of classic track and will continue to do so for many years. SCX track is completely compatible with this type of Scalextric.

The Rally Challenge is a great small size set with super-sized specification. You get TWO FORD FOCUSES (The box shows a Toyota, but you get the Red Focus and a while Focus in a rallying livery too instead). Super spec'd, this set includes a lap counter and chicane as well as the usually large over with run off / barrier areas!

Seems this is old stock but still a good buy especialy if you already have some track.
