Does this mean I might get a refund?

in Cutting tax
I have two part-time jobs and on one of them I've been paying an emergency tax code (BR) for the past 12 months . I went to the hmrc.gov.uk website and found this:
If you are an employee on PAYE:
I've been working so hard at the two jobs that I never considered for a moment that I might be overpaying on tax. However, on a salary of £453.94 per month for the job with the emergency tax code I pay £93.94 tax.
Can I start getting excited that I might be due a refund?
If you are an employee on PAYE:
- If I have to pay additional tax on emergency code, when will I get it back?
Your employer will normally pay it back to you on the next pay day after you get your proper code. If the tax year ends before you get your proper code, the Tax Office will send you the repayment.

I don't drink, don't smoke, don't go out - why aren't I rich?
Don't worry, I'm working on it!

Code BR is NOT emergency code, it's Basic Rate, or 22% in the year 2007/08.
If you are on code 522L and paying tax on your main job, then you will not be due a refund as BR on the second job will be correct. If however, you are not paying tax on your main job, or only paying at 10%, a refund may be due, but we would need more info to be really helpful.£705,000 raised by client groups in the past 18 mths :beer:0 -
