Travelodge - may bank hols £19 rooms

Hi, does anyone know if the TV's in Travelodge rooms will take an external DVD player? The Co-op have some really small DVD players for £9.99 and I was thinking of getting one to take to Travelodges for the kids to watch but I remember the TV's having some sort of box plugged into them. Presumably they will have a scart socket on the back but just wondered if anyone had ever done it.

p.s. before anyone asks the DVD players at the Co-op are NOT the ones with a built in screen.

Hi. i work in one and yes people do take their own dvd players, game consoles etc. HTH

You could always ring the hotel direct to make sure first but almost certain that it'll work

Thanks very much. I'll go and get a DVD player then.
We stayed in a Travel Inn for a week about 3 years ago and took one of those mini fridges but the cleaner unplugged it every morning so our milk was going off. We had to put a note on it eventually. Maybe they're considered a fire risk or something, very handy though.
