What small OS thing have you done today?

Hi,

On the DFW board they have a 'What small DFW things have you done today?' thread.

Just wondering if there is one on this board? If not, can I start one?

I find it useful on DFW as it shows the small things you can do to save money etc that you wouldn't always think of. So we could have one here to show all the OS things we'll do today (some will be DFW things too I guess) so others can see and also if its written down it can help to remind you to do it!!

Please let me know if there is a thread already. If not I will start one today.

Thanks

I've just put a batch of h.made buns in the oven, to ice a bit later on to make iced buns. if i put the icing on quite thick, they freeze really well. the kids can't get enough of them, and they only work out at about 12p each

i've cleaned all the bathroom and kitchen this morning using stardrops :D

i've got washing hung on the line that's been rinsed in vinegar

gonna make a batch of scones in a bit as well, to freeze

hope these are the sorts of things you meant!! ;)

Kitchen and bathroom have been scrubbed, WM has just finished it's first load of the day and I'm about to clean out the guinea pigs. I have about 500 tons of potatoes so I'm going to mash loads and freeze it.

I expect this'll get moved to the daily thread :D

I turned on the washing machine and the breadmaker as I left the house, so it should all be sorted when I get back. I took dinner out of the freezer to defrost too. :)

I did think it might get moved to the daily thread. But that is for random chat too isn't it? I was thinking we could have a new thread each day, like on DFW?

    Today I have / will

    - put the washing on at 30. And only used one tablet instead of two.

    - just made some really nice banana bread! My first time! Looks and tastes more like cake but it still yummy! :D

-Making pasta in sauce for lunch, and will take left overs to work for a snack.

    - Might take some of my banana bread to work too!
