Catch 22

Like many others we are finding ourselves in a situation where previous adverse credit is affecting our ability to obtain remortgage. Our property is valued at approx 100.000 and we are trying to remortgage for 75000,which would clear ALL of the existing debt that has led to the problems we have experienced.I have recently secured full time job which means our affordability wouldnt be an issue,if only we could be accepted.Any thoughts ot ideas will be greatly appreciated.ThanksMistermac

If you want to remortgage, have you tried going to a broker who can search all of the market for you - they might have a better idea of who to try for someone in your situation. You could try asking on the mortgages board here.
But before you remortgage, you might want to think about putting together an SOA (statement of affairs) and looking at snowballing your debts etc - it might be that there is a better option for your specific circumstances.0
