OS Daily for Wednesday 2nd April 2008

Hi, this is the Daily Thread for today. This is an “over the garden fence” type thread where we chat about everything OS and maybe a little bit more. It’s a great, inspiring and motivating thread we start each day to discuss what we’re going to do today or what we’ve achieved already. Everyone’s welcome, please do come in, put your feet up (although check the fence hasn’t just been painted first!) and join us for an OS natter. The more the merrier!

When you make a post, if you feel like giving it a title, that will help others that don’t have the time to read everything skim through the thread quickly but if not it's not a problem, we’re a laid back bunch here so you won’t hear any complaints. Please do not start a new daily thread before you go to bed at night because this often leaves things confusing with two daily threads live at the same time. The idea is that a member would start each new daily thread after they get up in the morning

Some people who chat here like to try to answer everyone. Don’t feel you have to though, a general “hi everyone, hope everyone’s well” type start does just as well.

Good morning everyone! Hope all is a well. Have just spent a lovely hour surfing the net uninterrupted!

Have just read the rest of yesterday's thread and MELLIKA - I would be tempted to involve the police. He shouldn't get away with what he's done and may well do it to someone else. This must be a horrible time for you. Would it be too inconvenient for you and your DH to get new mobile numbers - at least, then, he wouldn't be able to keep harassing you? I'm so glad your DH has not been taken in by all this. That should give you real strength and support.

SMOKY - Hope you are OK? Sending you and the LOs masive (((hugs))).

CHURCHMOUSE - :hello: :hello: :hello:

AUSSIE - I'm loving your pics!

Well, yet again I have errands to run today and I need to get some PC speakers because my new monitor doesn't have any:confused: . I had just assumed it would. I also have to go to the bank and the post office so I do hope I don't have to spend half the morning queueing up!

Yesterday, I finished all the ironing and it was great waking up and not wondering how I was going to fit it in today!

HARIBO - in case you didn't see my last post yesterday, I'm so glad your kitty kat turned up! They become so much a part of the family, don't they? We don't have any at the moment but my DS2 and his GF have a lovely kitten and I feel like he's one of my grandchildren! He might not feel the same way towards me though, because I was the one who took him to the vet's to get 'done' IYKWIM!

Anyway, off to wake DH up and get the day going! See you all later,

KathyXX

Morning. A quick one before I go to work.
Son's 17th today, so the car won't be safe from now on.....

I have to pick up 25 new chickens today, so that will mean the inevitable loss of some of the old ones.... Best not go there.

Not much else going on... Wet and windy start to the day.

    have a nice one

  • Morning all, not quite as bright and beautiful as it has been, but at least its not raining.

Got tonnes to do ( no change there) and its my day off, so I'm suppose to be doing some relaxing. Laundrys on and I've put all the pots in the dishwasher, not quite full yet so I'll wait til later to put that on. My big plan for the day is organising all our paperork, Our current file is bulging at the seam so I thought it might be best if I split it down into mine his and house, see if it makes a differene. Also want to make lemon curd today, ran out yesterday and thought, I've got lemons in, why not make some instead of buying it....we'll see how it goes.

Well, I hope everyone else has a pleasent day

N9eav _ Happy Birthday to your son
