I did the Game Overs before I went and now after I came back and I wasn't being sarcastic in the slightest, unfortunately some do believe we should be here 24/7 overseeing the board and that is a physical impossibility

I actually posted in the Compers Inn and Discussion Threads that I wasn't going to be here, I can't help it if people didn't see that.

No but I was only asking out of curiosity and concern, I dont want to be made to feel stupid or nasty on here for asking a general question, I know that the guides do a good job and I know that they dont work 24/7, and I know that the board is generally up to date, and i know that you have a husband and a life to live as well documented on your signature. And no i dont read the discussion board or the compers inn. As for volunteering, I couldnt and wouldnt ever be a board guide as I dont have the patience or time, and I am grateful for board guides for contributing this patience and time, which I have clearly stated to you on your threads before. They clearly sacrifice comping time to do this.

Think Ryan should take it back lol 103.gif... Be nice to the guides x

Take what back I dont understand? I only needed somebody to say that "Kipper had been away", then I would have said "Oh ok that would explain it" that is all that needs to be said, I havent broken the law or spammed the forum.

kipper, you are absolutely brilliant at the BG job and an ace comps poster, don't you think otherwise. No one, could be better.

Right I am going to quote and reply to every single one of these responses. I have never said that Kipper isnt a brillant board guide or an ace comps poster, in face I even started a thread once at a time when Kipper was posting hundreds of comps a week and suggested that everybody posts as many comps as they can find over the course of a weekend to give something back whilst she was off. So quite contrary to this, i have mentioned several times in threads how good a job kipper does.

It was just the way the post was worded, I found it a little offensive, I know it wasn't aimed at me in general but its hard not to take it personally

Anyway all sorted now and the boards are tidy.... for a few days at least!

Ok well I wasn't suggesting that you werent good at what you do, you do a fantastic job which must be getting harder as the forum seems to be growing?, I just noticed that the board was unusually not perfectly up to date and just wondered where you were kipper, I can see why you might have taken it to heart but I was just waiting for somebody to say that you were on a holiday or break or had something to do to be honest. Curiosity got the better of me that is all.

Thanks for the fantastic job you do as a board guide and thanks also for the many competitions that you regularly post.

    Ryan.

I know kipper is very busy, and that's why I try to PM each BG in rotation, with the exception of the weekends, when she's offline most of the time, so I miss her out completely then.

I like you all, because you all post lovely comps and - most of the time - have a good laugh. We all have our off moments (I've had a few - there's a song in there), but I also know that we also all try to be nice to each other as per the rules of the site (not just this board), and that, just like any family, we argue sometimes.

The important thing is to move on from them and forget them rather than revisiting old tiffs.

I do like what these tablets do for me. :rotfl:
