A little tip ... if you haven't already got it, I'd purchase "Roboform" for about £15.

Whats that Robo thing do ?

Roboform fills the forms very successfully, but I get the impression that you knew that from your post.

Oh, were you quoting someone else?icon5.gif

You can use it for free if you keep your passcards below 10.:D

It saves so much time - I wouldn't be able to do a fraction of what I do enter without it.

It's much more intelligent than Autofill in Firefox, although that is useful at times as well.icon14.gif

I love the passcards as well as the form filler, and may use multiple ids for entering family as well.

    Roboform is great.
My light may be on, but that doesn't always mean I am looking at the PC - I am far more likely to be cuddling or feeding Tianna atm, so please don't think I am ignoring you if I don't reply quickly :)

Our Precious Baby Tianna has now joined our Family, she is much loved and very welcome, xxx
  • To be fair by buying the full version it's so worthwhile, at last count I had over 300 passwords saved on there - I would say 70-80% of them are comps related you just can't save that amount of data on the free version.

I just have 2 autofill names - one for myself and one for my nephew (for the childrens comps)

I have got 10 log ins and out of them 5 arent anything to do with competitions

Im not very security minded as to have different passwords for each site - most are the same password, well maybe 3 or 4 passwords do the whole lot

Any sites that have the option to keep me logged in I do as I am not on a public computer and noone else in my family uses them so saves logging in and out

  • I use Roboform's generate password for any I need to, I don't know the passwords to most comp sites I go on, all of my Roboform is then backed up periodically so if anything happened to my PC I could use my back up discs to put my passwords/roboform on another one.

I know it's probably easy to find out, but I'm in a lazy mood - How simple is it to backup Roboform? I probably need to by now :)
  • TBH I have no idea, I leave it to DH to do it. I can ask him if you like later?
